One of my posts on domestic violence from this week's LinkedIn series.

In honour of Women's History Month, I'm discussing various legal issues affecting women in the workplace on LinkedIn. Each week, I pick a theme, and this past week's was workplace domestic violence. The subjects covered included:

  1. a case study of a then-Fortune 500 company's successful creation of a workplace domestic violence program;

  2. adequately defining domestic violence;

  3. when an employer becomes legally required to respond to domestic violence;

  4. conducting risk assessments for domestic violence in the workplace; and

  5. how to incorporate a survivor-centric workplace domestic violence action plan into the mandatory workplace violence policy and program.
